#Hi, my name is Thanos Karavokiris.
I was born in Athens, Greece, but spent my childhood living in 12 different regions of the country as my family relocated for work. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for diverse communities, cultures, and the importance of building meaningful relationships wherever life takes you.
After moving to San Diego to pursue my education, I earned a Doctorate in Strategic Management. I currently serve as Vice President of Operations for a biotechnology company, where I focus on driving organizational excellence and business growth. Along the way, I have had the privilege of teaching at a Greek School and later at a university, experiences that reinforced my passion for education and mentoring.
It is an honor to support our church and the Greek School in preserving our Greek heritage, strengthening our community, and creating meaningful opportunities for future generations. I believe that investing in our youth and giving back to the community are among the most meaningful ways we can ensure our traditions and values continue to thrive.
